Our program aims to fulfill and support Chesnut’s mission to educate the whole child and develop honorable and contributing citizens by encouraging students to see themselves as stewards of their school, community, environment and personal health! (Whew!)
The Chesnut Changers’ Pledge
We pledge to:
- Reduce, reuse, recycle
- Take care of plants and our environment (don’t pollute or litter)
- Make sure the animals have food
- Share our ideas with others in the school
- Learn about the garden
- Conserve (save) energy
- Eat healthy
